The Parador Royal Palace

The ISEF2025 Venue will be the Parador Royal Palace. The Conference comes to this spot for the second time, a medieval castle transformed into one of the jewels of Spain's estate-run Parador hotels.

The PARADOR lies on a peninsula within the precinct of The Royal Hill (Monte Real) surrounded by its fortified walls. It was colonized by the Romans in the second century B.C. The Royal Hill offers an incomparable view of the Atlantic horizon, shaped by the Ría de Vigo, the Cíes and Estelas Islands, and the Bay of Baiona..

This emblematic building and its spectacular open landscape, located just outside the Village but within walking distance, offer the perfect balance of beauty, functionality, and versatility for enjoying of a safe in-person meeting in a preserved and clean atmosphere, which is our top priority.

Baiona

The Royal Village of Baiona, which lies just on the Atlantic shore, along the 1,300 kilometres of coastline, is part of well-known natural estuaries (long sea lakes that stretch inland, originated by rivers), shaped by a chain of 772 beaches and protected by mountains, collectively known in Galician language as the Rias Baixas.

Baiona is a village located in the autonomous Community of Galicia (the green community in the Northwest of Spain), and one of the historic nationalities in the Iberian Peninsula, with over two thousand years of history behind it. The Royal Village of Baiona, a major trading center in the Middle Ages, was the first in the Old World in knowing news about the New World, later called America This historical moment occurred in March 1493, when the Columbus’s first ship, Carabela La Pinta, commanded by Pinzón and piloted by the Galician navigator Sarmiento, arrived in the Village.

In Baiona, one can taste the well-recognized quality of coastal Galician dishes. Through Galician seafood, accompanied by the famous Albariño and Ribeiro white wines, visitors will discover the essence of this Community and live a unique and authentic experience.
